Workbook Chapter 28: The Agony of Love

Broken love is extraordinarily painful, and Becky is agonizing through a very tough period in Chapter 28 of her memoir Beyond the Great Abyss.  That summer Lady Antebellum’s song “I Need You Now” hits the airwaves, and as her voice cracks on the title line Becky resonates to the heartbreak pouring out, but  is reassured that at least she is not alone in her heartbreak.

Have you had your heart broken?  Then you know what I’m talking about. Relationships are one of the hardest things out there, but also almost impossible to live without. So, what’s the answer?  Pain is unavoidable in life; it is part of the learning process, providing great incentive to learn and grow.  The key is to learn and grow as much as possible so that you can have better and better relationships.

Homeopathy, whole body vibration, intuition and meditation are fantastic aids for psychological, emotional and spiritual growth (as well as for physical health), and bringing these powerful tools to a world that aches with the need for love and peace is my mission. Workbook Chapter 27: Sex

Sex is great, right?  And the more the better….  That’s the message we get from our culture, but what if it’s not true in your own particular relationship or situation?  For Becky it is time to confront this issue head-on in Chapter 27 of her memoir Beyond the Great Abyss.

Sex is one of our most basic, driving instincts, and because of this deep link in our brains, emotional and psychological issues will be reflected here. Sex should be mutually satisfying and enjoyable, a chance for both people to express their love and caring for the other, resulting in greater pleasure and connection for both.  If there is a problem with sex in a relationship, or an individual, it is a  bright red flag – something is wrong and needs attention. Workbook Chapter 26: A Shocking Development

In Chapter 26 of Becky’s memoir Beyond the Great Abyssa consultation with her intuitive counselor (Jeanne Mayell) turns Becky’s life upside-down  by upending a firm assumption she has been operating under… now what to do?!  Is there truth to what Jeanne has seen?

What do you do when confronted with a crisis?  Becky meditates, confused and miserable, and resolves to look carefully at the situation again.  In her meditation, she feels herself physically held in the enormous palm of a loving, and gently playful God; she feels comforted, strengthened, and able to face the future, whatever it might bring.

I believe God is whoever you need and imagine him/her/it to be.  We create our own connection to God with our imaginations and we are all a part of this universal energy already, needing only to bring this connection into our conscious minds to fully savor and benefit from the unlimited power, knowledge and love inherent in this connection. (See Workbook Introduction for how to use this workbook). Workbook Chapter 25: Alone with My Book

Becky has pushed Victor away, and in Chapter 25 of her memoir Beyond the Great Abyss she feels very alone in her house and life, but she does have her writing project to focus on and it is a joy and a chance to reflect and grow.  She realizes there may be some truth (though she does not like it!) to an intuitive friend’s message that, ”Your life lesson is to learn that you cannot help everyone. Not everyone can be helped.”

I believe now, after years of considering this issue, that everyone can get better, but that it is true that I may not always be able to help them, no matter how much I may want to.

What do you think might be your “life lesson?”  Sometimes this can be very difficult to see, as by definition this will be something that you have great difficulty with, to the point where you may be blind to it. (See Workbook Introduction for how to use this workbook). Continue reading

Workbook Chapter 24: A Golden Light Pouring Down

Becky is hard at work on her book in Chapter 24 of her memoir Beyond the Great Abyss, with a vision of ”a beam of golden light pouring down” from above and into her, filling her with energy and purpose.  Though her personal life is still confusing and distressing, she hangs onto the power and strength of this new and consuming project that seems “meant to be.”

Sometimes when life is tough we must just have faith in ourselves, and that there is a plan for each of us.  Is there something in your life that you can believe in?  A spiritual practice is a way to help connect to a greater purpose and power in life, and you are already well on your way with your meditations, vibration and homeopathy!  Don’t give up! (See Workbook Introduction for how to use this workbook). Workbook Chapter 23: The Book Begins

What are your dreams and talents?  In Chapter 23 of Becky’s memoir Beyond the Great Abyss, she is rereading her journal and suddenly realizes…  here is the book, already partly written, that she has been thinking she should write for so long.  She begins the process of turning her journals into a memoir, and becomes so excited she can hardly sleep or think of anything else.

Do you have a dream?  What are you great at, and what gets you so excited you can barely sleep or breathe?  If the answer is “Nothing,” don’t worry.  Becky had never written anything before in her life when she started Beyond the Great Abyss, and had spent 40 years telling everyone she had “writer’s block” and couldn’t write, which was true!   By clearing and powering up your own energy (with vibration, homeopathy and self-reflection),  you will discover your own God given talents and potential.  (See Workbook Introduction for how to use this workbook). Workbook Chapter 22: Circles and Spirals

Not again!  Becky pushed Victor away in Chapter 21, and now in Chapter 22 of her memoir Beyond the Great Abyss she is fearful, lonely and sad again. Like a road circling a mountain around and around on its way to the top, life is a spiral of connected circles, where we must keep confronting the very issues that are hardest for us as we struggle to grow.

What issues keep coming up in your life?  And how do we make sure we are in an ascending spiral, not a descending one!

Knowledge leads to power, and intuition leads to knowledge.  How do you become intuitive and find your true path?  Whole body vibration, homeopathy, are fantastically powerful tools for purifying and strengthening your vibrations, allowing you to achieve your greatest potential in all areas, including developing your intuitive ability. Workbook Chapter 21: Kicking the Soccer Ball

In Chapter 21 of Becky’s memoir Beyond the Great Abyss she metaphorically kicks Victor all the way to the other end of the field in a dramatic and unexpected counter-move in their ongoing game of love and power.

Where does the strength come from to do this? Power surges in Becky through looking deeply at her innermost feelings and needs through her intuitive visions and dreams, which give her access to her unconscious mind. And we can all do this.  We are all born with the powerful intuitive ability to connect with the truth held in the energetic vibrations around us.

All you need for intuition is an open mind that allows for this possibility (it is ok if you are not yet 100% sure it will or can happen), a way to calm and slow the brain waves to where they can receive this information, and the clarity of mind that comes when your own vibrations are clear and strongly positive.  Meditation, whole body vibration (WBV), and homeopathy are powerful methods to aid in these processes. (See Workbook Introduction for how to use this workbook). Continue reading

Workbook Chapter 19: A Cute and Sexy Domestic Model

In Chapter 19 of Becky’s memoir Beyond the Great Abyss, Becky is in Florida visiting Victor’s sick father with Victor (and thus off her home territory with its home court advantage).  Intuitively perceiving hidden danger, Becky has a disturbing dream where she is a clay model of a woman, washing clothes on an old-fashioned washboard, and partially nude no less. With this image the meaning of the dream burns into her brain – that to be safe she is distracting others from her true self with sex and apparent domesticity – and she recognizes that this is not a healthy situation, emotionally or physically.

Are you compromising yourself in your relationships?  Are you hiding your true self? How does this affect you? (See Workbook Introduction for how to use this workbook). Continue reading

Workbook Chapter 18: Releasing Repressed Anger

Anger gets a bad rap, but like all emotions it has its place and purpose.  It is one of the most protective and powerful of emotions, providing a massive surge of energy designed to protect us and our loved ones from the hurt, even evil, that exists in the world.

However, problems can develop when that original justified anger is repressed and buried.  This will happen if you are not, in fact, able to protect yourself, for example, when a child is molested and has no power to stop the molestation. Like all repressed emotions, once anger has been buried, it will build in pressure, so that it will tend to erupt unpredictably and out of balance with present triggers.

In Chapter 18 of Becky’s memoir Beyond the Great Abyss, Victor, with the aid of the homeopathic remedy Staphasagria, begins to release a volcano of rage burning deep in his psyche, originally stemming from a tragedy that nearly destroyed his life some 22 years earlier. (See Workbook Introduction for how to use this workbook).
